Joplin Petro Truckstop Mural Commission
I have begun work on my latest commission for the Iowa 80 Group. The subject is Route 66, featuring the state of Missouri and the Joplin Petro Truckstop.
The mural begins, from the right, with Chicago, proceeds across America, and finishes on the left at the Santa Monica Pier.
I am working on 3 canvases, each 48" high and of varying width. The finished canvases will be digitally scanned, printed on vinyl substrate, and applied to the trailer portion of a tractor-trailer, approx. 53' x 11'. The truck will be inside the new SuperTruck Showroom addition to the Joplin Petro Truckstop in Joplin, Missouri.
